Computer Virus Protection Reviews

Whenever you go online, you definitely can't leave your PC without virus protection. I thought I’d save extra bucks and went without antivirus program on my notebook when I first got it. But after just two months the computing performance began to slow down. So, I had to send it back to the dealer for a system restoration because the viruses had completely wiped out my data. The computer technician, who also happens to live across my home, highlighted to me that he’d never seen a computer so infested with viruses and spyware. He advised me to check computer virus protection reviews so that I could get a suitable protection for my notebook.

Maybe I believe that being attacked by computer viruses is an isolated incidence and they only attack those unfortunate ones. You know like the digital form of Ebola. Yeah, everyone when hear Ebola, they will be frightened but how many victims are infected with Ebola every year? I recalled the first time I heard about it was some 10 or 15 years ago. I can still remember the fear in their eyes but nobody was infected.

Over the last decade, the viruses have evolved and they become very stealthy and sophisticated, not mentioning the higher damaging payload they carry with them. They are like carrying nuke heads with them. Today, if your hardware doesn't have any anti virus software, you are at a very high risk of virus infection. Don't forget the spyware too.

The tech guy helped me to subscribe to Norton Symantec and since then I have no problem with my laptop. I know that this company is dedicated in helping people to protect their systems from these malicious programs. Well, there are many companies that do offer similar services like Panda, McAfee, and F Secure. That is why reviews on these software would be a great help if you are looking for one to match your usage. Of course, every anti virus software come with different prices and ratings. You can always check your friends' opinions if they use computer a lot.

I’ve been perfectly happy using McAfee’s computer virus protection, and haven’t had any viruses since I installed it. If you buy a new computer or notebook today, usually they will bundle the equipment with some forms of virus protection. All you’ll have to do is register for continued protection and pay for the yearly subscription if you want a peace of mind and safety on your data.

Now many of these softwares guard email servers from harmful viruses and worms. Check out the free email such as Hotmail, Gmail, or Yahoo and I can assure you that their anti virus program will scan every incoming mails with and without attachments. Having said so, I always take precaution whenever I receive an anonymous or unknown email. You will never know what it contains. So, it is better to delete it instead of opening it.

Make sure you always update the anti virus software. This will always keep your software updated against new worms and trojans. If you ever need a program to protect your system, just go to the Internet and search for computer virus protection reviews. Then make comparisons and see which one is sufficient for your use. It usually costs less than a hundred bucks. Investing a small sum of money can protect your important data from destroyed. Weight this small sum of investment against the large expenses in recovering the vital documents. Does it make sense now? Prevention is always better than cure.
